Today is my birthday. It was actually pretty perfect, so far. I love my work and co-workers. They really are something else, in a good way.

So, I've been working on three websites via work. QuakeSmart, WorldSafe Network and the new Safe America web page. I'm going to be working on it this weekend, though. I'll put 10-12 hours into it over two days, then by Monday (after all the meetings) we'll have a good idea of what to expect, allowing the site to go live... let's say Thursday, maybe Friday...

I still need to make time so do some studying as well... We'll see...

My parents and me have not gone out to a dinner in about two years, but we all did tonight. It was the funniest turn of events that I have ever experienced in my life. Now, it ALL makes sense... I really see how close the apple fell from the tree... It's great, esp over a nice beer.

Now, time for some German cake, then off to my buddies place for a few.

It's been really busy the past couple of weeks. Finals, overtime at SAF, busy with two clients and trying to get this v2interactive launched on it's due date. (which it did, on June 1st)

All is well there, though. It's really keeping me busy, that's for sure. Now that it's all done-ish, I can sit back for a few and have some time to get back to playing basketball.

Speaking of which, the finals should be very interesting. I'm so good, my predictions were right. Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers. You want a spoiler? Celtics in game 6 will take it. I've got twenty on it, who's game? Game 1 is on the 5th, that should tell a lot about how this series will unfold.

Hey everybody, has it really been a month since the last update? My bad.

It's been a real hectic time. I'm just finished up my spring semester at school, getting all A's and one B. That's the first time I've had such high grades since elementary school! Next semester should be fine, but fall of 08' is really going to kick my butt. That's when all the advanced programming classes come into play. I can't wait to learn about network admin'ing.

V2interactive is still getting work done. We've acquired two clients and a possible third. The website is still in design... Well, let me take that back. The design is perfect and complete, it's just the content that's really kicking my rear-end.

1. Our first client is a automotive club in need of flyers and business cards.
2. The second client is a small business owner, right down the street who needs help designing a mass mailing.
3. Finally, the third possible client is a local man, who needs one-on-one training on how to update and maintain their company website.

Over all, we're looking at a 100+ hours of work. Not bad for not even (officially) being in business.

Another 150 billion dollars are being dumped into this 8 year "war"... And we wonder why our economy is so crappy? Let's dig in Alaska, use half of it (enough to supply the whole US for 15 years!) and save the other half in reserves, while we find alternative energy forms.

I'm getting pretty sick and tired of these tree huggers who think there is going to be so much harm and wrongful doing if we dig for oil in Alaska. If all these people love the area so much, then go take a 10 minute stay there, and check it out. There is NOTHING to see. Meanwhile, Iraq is laughing at us, as they're paying 15 cents a gallon for their gas. Ironic, isn't it? But no, let's question and accuse our main source of oil for ripping is off. There ya' go, let's burn every bridge we have.

Watching Hillary and Barack on T.V. is just like watching Dumb & Dumber. You can pick who is who... One complains about racism, the other sexism, meanwhile old man river is laughing all the way to the bank. It's horrible to say, but sometimes I think Fidel Castro had it all right.

On that note, I'm going to get back to my chickfila. I'll post someting later... I'll probably tell ya'll how I got to take my Honda around the Atlanta Motor Speedway @ 120mph, ha!

It's been a long time since I've updated. Sorry, and or my bad.

I rolled my ankle two weeks ago playing basketball with some ballers @ GA Tech. I went up for the rebound along with some other person who landed on my back, cause my ankle to pretty much just like snap. I had to get an x-ray to verify it wasn't broken, though it wasn't, the doctor said it was pretty damn close. Now, it's a lot better, I can move fast, but not run yet. Thus no basketball, but I've managed to be able to move around enough to shoot a little, ya know?

Work as been going well. The basketball league ended, and I'm kinda sad. I miss the kids already, it kinda is weird how you kinda take them is as real friends... Hmm... Another one is starting up next week, but I miss THOSE kids, they were sooooo fun!

So I'm now the primary I.T. person at my other job. It's pretty awesome, I like having the irresponsibility and trust to take care of business. It's awesome though, I've been learning a lot that I can apply to school and future professional environments.

I also started back up the new semester at school. I'm only taking two classes this semester because there were so many screw-ups when I initially registered. It's all good though, the classes are very cool and it works actually well with my schedule now.

The Prelude is running kinda shitty, but could be worse. I realized I have a nail in one of my tires from the construction at the Y. Adding to that, my A/C belt is falling apart and the pulley needs to be adjusted. I mean it shouldn't be more than two hundred bucks tops, I know nothing big, but ofcourse, it does suck. Let's break it down

New tires (mounted, balanced etc): $84.88
Alignment afterwards: $49.99 (with coupon)
A/C Belt: $20.00
Pulley (worse case) $94.99

Sub total (rounding up):
Worse Case: $250.00 (plus tax)
As expected: $155.00 (plus tax)

Yeah, so it's all good. I'm expecting my $600.00 tax refund check from good ol' W here in June. I guess all you can do is play it by ear.

Last night, while I was at my buddy's house some 85 year old lady ran into my parked car causing the following damage:



I've got a feeling my car is going to be totaled. There is even more damage on the other side. The lady must have been going over 30MPH in the neighborhood in order to push my car fifteen feet into, and over my friends mailbox.

I've got to wait until Friday before I get a rental car and start to work on this. It's going to be a huge pain though. But I figured worse case, I get to shop for a new car at least. Kelly Blue Book value of my car is $7,500.00~, so I'm hoping to get a little more than that from their insurance company. I'll post more as I find out more.

Michael and Ashley are now parents. Ashley gave birth it Ethan last night at 7:15pm. The baby boy was born healthy and had no problems.

I've been spending a lot of time at the hospital with them. It's really an eye-opener, it kind of makes you realize a little bit about yourself and life. I can't even imagine what Mike and Ashley feel right about now.

I have a cavity, and I can not see the dentist until Tuesday. I would be sitting here complaining and crying about how bad it hurts and sucks but the pain killer pills he gave me kicked.

I'm scared to death of the dentist. I think I'm going to have a mild panic attack at his office next week, making a total idiot of myself.

Cheers to the three day weekend, though. A much needed 'mini' vacation from the hectic collage of work and school.

Speaking of which, both are going well.

Today, 23 years ago... I was born :-)

I know, I know... It's been a coupe days... I mean weeks since the last update.

I don't think I've ever been busier in my entire life. Monday, Wednesday and Friday's I work at my new job @ SafeAmerica as their I.T. guy from 8am til 3pm, then run to my job at the gym from 4pm till 9pm. After that I try to spend aleast an hour playing basketball or working out to keep in shape.

Tuesday's and Thursdays I have class from 9am till 3pm then somehow manage to squeeze lunch in before going back to my job at the gym from 4pm till 9pm.

I still work Saturday's too, teaching little 4 and 5 year olds the concepts and rules of sports like baseball, basketball and hockey.

This is all while trying to maintain my sanity and a female friend.

I promise there will be more updates and I will not neglect the website. Infact, I'm working hard on new conent and a little redesign for joshz.net.

I'm trying to catch up with life, it seems that this week has already come and gone.

Finally, I heard back from the pending job @ SafeAmerica. They want to get me on board for their I.T. position, part tme, until I get my feet wet and get more comfortable.

School has been going well. I switched up all my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays to open up my Mondays and Wednesday's for more work. If not work, then just some extra free time to get some fun.

I'm getting tired of hearing about this Michael Vick garbage. Sure the man is guilty, but everybody just needs to get off their (celebrities) backs. Everybody has a skeleton in their closet, it's just that this person got caught.

I'll post a specific blog on my thoughts about that this weekend.

Monday is finally over, thank goodness. Thus marks the end of the first day of the work week, well not including my shift on Saturday.

Speaking of work, I finally got my "bonus" after weeks of waiting. Hopefully I'll be granted another one, or else... Well, I don't know... I've never felt so under appreciated at work before, and I've been working for seven years.

Joshz.net has been updated as well. I've changed around a couple of things in the layout and menus. I've also condensed some pages together, and made some brand new ones, including a site map.

I'm going to register for fall courses next week. I need to take the following:

1. Network Security
2. Dynamic HTML Coding
3. E-Commerce Ethics
4. Internet Business Fundamentals

This is already my fourth year in college, and I still haven't graduated. I might be a 5 and a half year graduate. But hey, better late than never.

Life is pretty much kicking my butt right about now. Trying to balance two jobs and take summer courses is a lot harder than I had previously imagined. I sometimes can't even find time to study, go to the gym or anything else, I'm just swamped... Atleast my website is low maintenance, I just need to make sure it's up-to-date and error free.

Hopefully, by the end of the week I'll just have one jump, neither of them listed above. Last week I had my formal interview at SafeAmerica to see how I'd qualify to pick up a possible career there. In the mean time, I've got scheduled for a follow up this Friday @ 10am to talk about hours, salary and different positions I could help in, two of them being their I.T. and marketing departments. It would fit my degree in e-commerce like a glove, so we'll see.

Is it time for elections yet, or what? I know it's unprofessional to speak about who you're voting for, but... Obama 2008!

I'm still debating if I should invest money into getting a stack of 500 or so business cards to help promote my new website... Speaking of which, joshz.net should be under-going some major changes in the next couple of weeks. There are designs and plans to extend the portfolio section, other ideas include a forum and user-friendly log-in for clients. This is all in the air as of now, so keep in touch for any updates.

It's late, and I should be working on my English essay, or atleast my graphic design logo project... Crap, speaking of school, I need register for fall classes sometime soon before they fill up again. I never knew the Computer Information System classes were so popular.
